I was pleased to receive them just a couple days after I ordered. My husband has gone through several pairs if these slippers over several years. They really are his "old friend". The slippers are warm and comfortable. He even wears them all summer. They are well made, fit well and are long wearing. He likes the color and the look. We hope they will always be available. Suppose the idea was to make it washable, but I did not have a problem with the old model. They look good and feel even better, with a washable insole and a hard sole that can be worn outside for limited usage it is an ideal slipper for a man who's feet get abused all day wearing safety boots.
